YOU MAY NOT NEED A FULL REPIPING SERVICE“If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” Are we right? If your plumbing problems are confined to a particular area of your system, a relatively quick repair will probably work just fine.
BUT THEN AGAIN, YOU MAYIf it feels like new sections of pipe break as soon as others have been repaired, it may be time for whole home repiping. Wolcott professionals will swap out all of your old pipes for new ones, essentially leaving you with a brand new plumbing system. If your water pressure has changed, your water’s changed color, or it smells weird, give us a call to come see what’s going on — these are all signs that you may need repiping.
SHOULD YOU GO WITH COPPER OR PEX?
Plumbing pipes are usually made from copper or PEX (cross-linked polyethylene) and Wolcott professionals can help you choose which is best for you and your system. More traditional copper pipes are built to last, but pricier to install. PEX piping is cheaper and easier to install and it won’t freeze or corrode, but it can’t be used outside or connected directly to your water heater
