Are you thinking about making your dream bathroom a reality? Or maybe just doing a few small updates to bring your aging bathroom into the 21st century? While you may be considering the DIY route to save money, there are a few things to keep in mind.

How much do you know about safety?

We’re all about safety here, and when it comes to plumbing, HVAC, and electrical, it’s no joke. Poorly installed plumbing and venting can lead to water damage and mold growth and faulty electrical wiring can lead to fires. You obviously don’t want to put yourself or your family at risk, so consider all things safety before getting started. If you or a trusted friend have a good understanding of how to be safe with the remodel, then maybe you go for it. But if not, it’s a good idea to leave it to the professionals who have the necessary tools, training, and permits to handle these tasks safely.
